Galisteo (#1)

New Mexico Sun Shines On Native American Art In The Galisteo Room

With its own outdoor entrance and windows opening to a private walled garden, the spacious Galisteo room is an ideal abode for the Santa Fe visitor. Featuring a variety of Native American art, including a locally crafted king bed, this warmly decorated room hints at the rich ancestral past of the Santa Fe area.

Relax in front of the kiva fireplace, where the love-seat-sized sofa expands into a twin sleeper. Enjoy the perfect combination of morning sunshine and afternoon shade on the private walled patio. This room can also be connected to the adjoining Peralta room through a door, creating a group or family-friendly arrangement of 2 bedrooms and 2 baths.

“El Farolito was the embodiment of southwestern art and charm. I was there with a group – so we got to see all of the beautiful and unique rooms – each with a fireplace and original art. I can’t say enough about the service…”

El farolito is an amazing experience in Santa Fe! El Farolito Bed and Breakfast was a dream stay for us as we traveled across the United States. Wayne and his team got everything right, from the easy and personal check-in (with delicious homemade cookies!) to a breakfast that I will dream of for years! The property is close enough to downtown Santa Fe to walk if you are so inclined. The beds and rooms are tastefully decorated, and the beds are as comfy as my own home. If you stay anywhere in Santa Fe, New Mexico, there is no other choice! Thanks, Wayne, for making us feel at home for our night in Santa Fe!

Peralta (#2)

The Peralta Room Is Adorned With Folk Art From Around The World

Enjoy the international atmosphere of this room, featuring Folk Art from around the world. The room features a king bed with a colorful hand carved Mexican headboard plus a queen-sized American Leather Comfort sofa-sleeper. Make your favorite drinks at the wet bar, and step through the sliding glass door for an evening chat on the small patio area – or stay in by a crackling fire.

Peralta can be connected to adjoining room Galisteo by a door, creating a spacious group or family-friendly arrangement with 2 baths and 2 bedrooms.

“A great, comfortable, central location. We always take the Casita Peralta, a lovely room.”

Our stay at the El Farolito Bed and Breakfast in Santa Fe, New Mexico was absolutely perfect. The rooms are so cute and well-appointed, with fireplaces in some of them. The breakfasts were amazing each morning, fresh-cooked with a wonderful Southwestern flair. The location is perfect, just an 8-minute walk to shops, the farmers market, restaurants, and anything else you might want to do. The innkeeper was very personable and friendly, and he asked every day if he could help us plan anything or recommend restaurants. We really enjoyed the Santa Fe Brewery Brakeman's pub next door, just 50 feet away. It has a great atmosphere, beer, and a food truck, and it shuts down early so it was never noisy. It's a very casual place. Best time to visit Santa Fe is during the spring or fall, when the weather is mild. However, El Farolito is a great place to stay year-round. We are definitely coming back to El Farolito again!

Acequia Madre (#3)

Experience True Santa Fe Charm In Your Private Casita

Immerse yourself in quietly sophisticated Santa Fe style. The beauty of the art and textiles is complimented by authentic Southwestern architecture. Crowned by a viga ceiling, this stand-alone adobe casita with traditionally plastered walls features a locally hand-crafted king-sized bed, two comfortable chairs, and sliding glass doors opening onto a small patio area.

A haven for any traveler, this casita provides the perfect setting for the complete Santa Fe experience.

“May be our favourite in the U.S. and our top-five in the world!”

We stay at B&Bs all the time, and El Farolito is one of the best we've ever stayed at. It's exceptionally well-kept, clean, and pleasant. The casitas are beautifully decorated and fit in perfectly with the Santa Fe aesthetic. Wayne, the owner, is very hands-on and friendly. He's always happy to answer questions and make recommendations. Breakfast is excellent, and it's served quickly either inside or outside under cover. The location is very convenient to many attractions. It's a 12-minute walk to the historic district and Canyon Road. The restaurant next door, Martin's, is superb. El Farolito is consistently ranked as one of the best places to stay in Santa Fe. It is a great value for the price, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We loved our stay at El Farolito and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great B&B in Santa Fe.

Garcia (#4)

Luxuriate In The Richness And Romance Of Your Private Santa Fe Casita

Sink into the finely hand-crafted king size bed highlighting traditional Spanish Colonial designs, or cuddle up in the love seat sized sofa in front of a warm wood fire in a kiva fireplace. Craft your favorite drinks at the wet bar, and savor them in the starlight:

This free-standing casita has its own entrance, and a private patio accessible through sliding glass doors. Hand-plastered walls and a wood ceiling set off the Spanish Colonial art and textiles, and complete the mood beautifully.

“Our room was Casita García… an excellent place to stay and we hope to be back again”

We had a last-minute trip to Santa Fe, and we absolutely loved our stay at El Farolito Bed and Breakfast! The casitas are nice, clean, and cozy, and the fireplace with supplied wood was a great bonus. Breakfast was awesome and included in the stay. There are many things to do in Santa Fe, from visiting art galleries and museums to hiking in the mountains. El Farolito is a great home base for exploring all that Santa Fe has to offer. Thank you, Wayne, for being an awesome host! We will definitely be back!

Delgado (#5)

The Delgado Room Evokes The Warmth And Fun Of The Old West

Return to this cozy Santa Fe Inn hideaway after a hard day’s work riding the range, shopping the plaza, hiking the scenic canyons, or exploring local galleries. A hand-carved gate opens onto a small private patio drenched in afternoon sun. Step inside and kick off your boots to sink into the overstuffed reading chair, or set down at the small lodge style desk to write home about your adventures.

A wrought-iron queen-sized bed dressed in warm colors and brick floor complete the vintage Western feel, making this a haven for discerning travelers and dusty wranglers alike.

“The whole complex is quiet and private, offering a real alternative to large hotels.”

We had a fabulous find in El Farolito Bed and Breakfast in Santa Fe. We enjoyed the ambiance of the outdoors, the separate entrances and private patios for the various rooms, and the breakfast was divine each day. Bernardo gave us great suggestions for our hikes and sightseeing, and Walt suggested the Coyote Cantina for their outstanding tacos. El Farolito is a great place for couples to relax and enjoy each other's company. The casitas are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. We were very comfortable during our stay, and we were well cared for by the staff. We also liked that we could easily walk into the center of Santa Fe. We will definitely go back if we are ever in the area.

Santa Fe Suite (#8)

Classic Southwestern Elegance Defines The Santa Fe Suite

Immerse yourself in our rejuvenating Santa Fe sanctuary. A sunny skylight illuminates the tile floor, hand-plastered walls, and viga ceiling of this, our most luxurious accommodation.

A comfortable one-bedroom suite with separate sitting room, the Santa Fe Suite is richly appointed with custom fabrics, furniture, and original regional art. The bedroom features a king-sized bed, and the full-sized sofa in the sitting room expands into a sleeper. Share the sun-dappled dining room patio with other guests accompanied by the peaceful sound of a trickling Mexican fountain. Along with the usual amenities, this room has its own outside entrance, 2 TVs and a CD player, and features a gas fireplace usable year-round.

“If you are staying in Santa Fe, make El Farolito your choice. Cozy, immaculate, beautifully appointed Casitas; walking distance to town, and best of all, extremely knowledgeable hosts.”

Deserves 5 stars -We loved our stay at El Farolito Bed and Breakfast in Santa Fe! The owner, Wayne, was charming and helpful, and the breakfasts were fabulous and varied. The Covid protocols were superior, and our attractive, well-appointed room was a separate building with a private entrance and patio. We couldn't think of one guest amenity that was omitted! El Farolito is the perfect place to celebrate an anniversary. The staff will go out of their way to make your stay special, and the location is close to many of Santa Fe's most romantic attractions. Wayne made great restaurant recommendations (including one right next door!), and the location was ideal for walking to shopping, etc. We actually stayed longer than originally intended and loved every minute of it.
