3 Reasons to Visit the Santa Fe Winter Indian Market

1. Immerse Yourself in Local Culture

The Santa Fe Winter Indian Market is an incredible opportunity to experience local cultural traditions. The festive downtown event comes to life in lively La Fonda on the Plaza. Join in the merry crowds by browsing an extensive selection of authentic Native American art, crafts, and collections. It is just one of many markets and events hosted by the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts. Trust us; you won’t want to miss out on this authentic event within walking distance of our Inn!

2. Get Yourself in the Holiday Spirit

The Santa Fe Winter Indian Market typically takes place during the second weekend in December. This makes it the perfect time to immerse yourself in the holiday spirit with a Southwestern touch! Christmas lights, decorations, and more adorn the beautiful indoor plaza. In addition to the extensive display of artwork, Saturday and Sunday are full of activities, live music, traditional dances, and more. There are multiple ticket options for those visiting the Santa Fe Winter Indian Market. A one-day pass for Saturday or Sunday allows you to enjoy a taste of the event. There’s also a two-day event pass that gives guests unlimited access to both days of the festival.

Note: The 2019 Winter Indian Market takes place on Saturday, December 14th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, December 15th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. One-day passes are $10 and weekend passes are $15 (children under 12 are free).
